In a time when customer service is a low priority for many companies it’s a very pleasant surprise to discover that Protection 1 is diligently working to stand apart from the crowd by providing outstanding customer service. During this past weekend our office was broken into and Protection 1 handled the situation (actually, situations) professionally and effectively. I spoke with [a Protection 1 employee] on March 26 and she reviewed the event history with me and arranged to have a copy of it sent to me. [Another Protection 1 employee] actually emailed me the history before close of business the same day. On Tuesday I spoke with [a third Protection 1 employee] who very patiently explained different items within the report which lead to her discovery that our programming wasn’t accurate and worked with your technical team to get it corrected while I was still on the phone. Early yesterday morning I received two automated emails; the first said we could expect a technician to visit and the second telling us exactly who it would be and that he was on his way. [This Protection 1 technician] thoroughly examined our system, verified that everything was intact and fully operational, provided us with new window labels and signs to stake outside, and made recommendations for added security. Kudos to each one of these employees who treated me with courtesy, respect and compassion for the recent events.
