Experience: 29 years driving the industry to a higher standard. Tim has held nearly every position from installer to call center operator, general manager, chief operating officer and CEO. Decades of experience span from his family-run security business to leading some of the largest security companies in the world.

Passion: His passion is the Customer, period. Tim places a high value on continuous learning and improvement. He believes even the best practices that serve National Account customers today can be improved. His insight and perspective, along with his deep appreciation for the customer experience, have shaped our truly integrated Protection 1 National Account Program.

Commitment: He became CEO of Protection 1 June 4, 2010 with a mission to create the best national security company distinguished by its overall customer experience.

Experience: 27 years serving customers. Bob is a veteran of the largest national account program in the security industry and has a real-world knowledge base that is hard to match.

Passion: He cares deeply about our Protection 1 customers and internal teams. He understands that at the end of the day, people serve people, and creating a great customer experience is the ultimate goal.

Commitment: He creates successful partnerships by aligning the needs of a customer with the talented resources of our company to provide a personalized National Account Program.

Experience: 22 years at the cutting edge. Don brought the accessibility of customer data to the industry. His experience in field operations gives him exceptional insight and expertise as a CIO. It drives his use of technology and data to help our customers improve their operations.

Passion: He is one of the smartest minds in the industry. His intense focus on data and technology is equaled by his desire to improve the total customer experience.

Experience: 16 years out in front. Dan was named one of the “20 Under 40” by Security System News. He continues to distinguish himself in the industry and the financial community.

Passion: He puts his focus on Protection 1 customer needs while developing financial and process objectives for our National Account Programs.

Commitment: He takes a holistic approach to the security business that looks at the big picture while putting a customer’s needs first at every step of the way.

Experience: 17 years living brands. Integrating her experience in product management, strategy, six sigma and growing major brands on a global basis, Jamie has what it takes to build an exceptional brand experience.

Passion: She believes that a brand represents the culmination of a customer's experience and is passionate about the details in designing them. Jamie is often quoted saying, “You don't just create brands, you live them.”

Commitment: She is a fanatic when it comes to understanding the ever-changing needs of our National Account customers and that helps keep us "A Better Choice for You."

Betsy Scott, VP Human Resources has lead Protection 1 Human Resources since November of 2001. Prior to moving to Protection 1, she was the Director of Employee Development & Training for three years at Westar Energy. She worked for Westar Energy for 14 years. During her tenure at Westar Energy she held management positions in customer service, accounting, corporate strategy and employee development & training. Betsy has a BS in Finance.

P. Gray Finney

Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary

P. Gray Finney has more than 20 years of broad, progressive legal and business experience with global, industry-leading corporations. He possesses multiple degrees in law, accounting and finance. Prior to joining Protection 1, Finney served as senior vice president, General Counsel and Secretary of ADT Security Services, Inc..

Finney has also served as senior lawyer at Ryder System, Inc. and regional manager of SimplexGrinnell LP’s Gulf Coast Region where he was responsible for SimplexGrinnell’s business operations in Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana. Early in his career, he was a senior tax specialist at KPMG LLP.

Finney, a former member of the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) Board of Directors, is intimately familiar with the strategic and day-to-day legal and business issues that confront operators in the electronic security industry.
