What’s a Smart Home Without a Smart Phone?
Remotely arm/disarm your security system.
Ever forget to arm your home security system? No problem. You can easily arm or disarm your home automation system remotely using our smartphone app, or your web-enabled PC. This makes it easy to let people into your home and eliminates having spare keys floating around. You can also automate your system to send you email alerts when pre-selected events happen, such as a garage door opening, a medicine cabinet or gun case opening or an alarm being turned off.
Remote Door Locks
Secure your home remotely with automatic electronic door locks.
Did you ever have to run home and let a service person into your house? Have you ever worried about all of the extra keys floating around for your home? Does everyone in the neighborhood know the code to your garage door keypad? You can end all of these problems with home automation products that let you operate locks remotely using your smartphone, tablet or PC. Let the kids in or check to make sure you remembered to lock a door, and do it all remotely with the touch of a finger.
Monitor your home remotely with wireless security cameras.
Use your laptop or smartphone and stay connected to your kids, pets and property with a home automation system featuring video capabilities. See what is going on in real time. Check in on your sitter, know when your kids show up after school, check on the dog or check in on an elderly parent. You do not have to wonder what is going on—you can see it using your smartphone, tablet or PC.
Remotely control your smart lights indoors or out.
Working late? Do you dislike coming home to a dark house? No problem. With home automation as a part of your security system, you can turn lights on or off using your smartphone, tablet or PC. You can control outdoor lights, indoor lights, program lights, turn lights on and off and—well, you get the picture. Control your lighting from miles away or from across the room, it is all up to you.
Manage energy costs with smart thermostats.
Energy costs hardly ever go down! Energy management will save you money on utility bills and help your family live a greener lifestyle. Controlling your thermostat is as easy as activating your home automation system. You can adjust and monitor your thermostat from anywhere, and that makes it easy to keep the heat down (or the air conditioning up) during the day, then turn it back to a more comfortable level before you head home.
Fire & Carbon Monoxide
Breathe easier with monitored smoke, fire and carbon monoxide detection.
Our home automation products can provide warning of dangerous environmental threats 24 hours a day. Our security professionals monitor them, and that means help is dispatched immediately even when you are asleep or away from home. You may qualify for an additional homeowners insurance discount for monitored smoke and fire detection—check with your agent.
A Doorbell That Can Alert Your Mobile Phone.
Knowing that someone is at the door of your home is easy when you add a wireless doorbell to your all-in-one monitored security and home control system. You can elect to receive a text or email alert when your doorbell(s) rings. The doorbell can be wired in to allow the current doorbell to ring as well as the keypad and notifications.
Remote Garage Door
Control your garage door from anywhere.
Did someone leave the garage door open? Stop guessing and know for sure with the LiftMaster MyQ® garage door controller. You can use your smartphone to check the status of whether the garage door is open or closed—and even remotely open or close it. It can also automatically close the garage door at a pre-set time after your security system is armed.
Home Automation Systems Reviews
I have only had the system less than a month, but am happy with it. I like being able to monitor my system on the website.
Everything went according to plan. Hopefully I'll never have to need the system. It is better safe than sorry. The system is easy to use and the app is very convenient.
I love the technology and ability to interact with our system from the panel, our devices or key fobs. It makes it convenient and provides my family and I with a lot of peace of mind that us and our home are always being monitored and protected. If I could add one feature, it would be to include a panic alarm from the mobile app as well. As far as I know, it doesn't have that feature.
We have this system in both homes and are very pleased. The up dates from the system to are E- Mail is a very helpfull and enables us to feel secure at either home. The arming of the system with are cell phones from any location is a great feature. This is a secure system I feel, and not many in my experience fill that job.
My service experience was very positive. As a business, I felt you not only needed to know my level of satisfaction, but also your employee's presentation. Your technician was professional, technically knowledgeable, and very patient in answering all of my questions on all visits to service my home. You have a good employee.
